Do not give me things unbroken
I'd rather take the time to mend,
To learn what shape they held before
And try to piece them back together,
Help them learn to be whole again

I'd rather watch the scattered pieces
Regroup and coalesce,
Form something they were not before,
And learn about themselves

Of course in time
They do move on,
But this bothers me not one bit,
For I am just a Healer
And accept the price
That comes with it.
